"Walk A Mile In My Paws" is a very effective program of canine
obedience and behavior training. When we put ourselves in the
position of understanding why a dog behaves as he does, we add a
heightened level of communication, understanding and achievement.
"PAWS" brings a special pride, confidence, respect and love to the
relationship which is so important to the happiness and well being
of both you and your dog.
Throughout the years I have known many dog owners and have
witnessed far too many abuses. These abuses are, in most cases,
prompted by a common circumstance. This being the inconsistent
expectations and emotions that some trainers will impart to their
pet during training as a result of not having proper understanding
of the dog's point of view. Of course it seems to most involved in
this situation, that the dog is not very intelligent or just
doesn't care for the training that you have worked so hard to
impart. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you are
disappointed in your dogs behavior, habits in the home, attitude
toward others or obedience to you, there is none to blame but
yourself. The simple fact is that your dog is not sure of what is
expected of him. As you read this valuable training manual, you
will learn how to have the most rewarding relationship possible
with your pets. You will have many years of love, friendship,
pride and joy between yourself and your dog. I might add, this can
be accomplished without ever having to raise your voice or strike
your animal. How can this be possible you ask? Simple! " WALK A
MILE IN MY PAWS " teaches you the skills necessary to train your
dog in 10 short minutes a day through understanding what it is
that makes your dog act and react as he does. "Walk A Mile in My
Paws" makes this possible because when we train from our dogs point
of view, the frustrations and failures of training become a thing
of the past. Loving praise for good behavior and no exceptions
from what puppy is allowed or not allowed to do, will serve to keep
everyone including pup, happy as can be.
